Eighty-five World Cup qualifiers are scheduled around the world from September 5 through the 10th. One of those qualifiers is on September 10th at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio between the United States and Mexico. The Director of Stadium Grounds, Wes Applefeller has the pitch in top condition for the match. He has made one adjustment for the match and that is to move the touch lines (side lines) in one meter from an MLS match earlier. The reason for the moving of the line is to accommodate the electronic advertisement boards that must be at least 4 meters away from the touch line.
